The Cristo de los Toreros, or Bullfighters' Christ, is the name given to Jesús del Gran Poder, the image carved by the sculptor Nicolás de Bussi in 1693 and venerated in Murcia. Bullfighters hold it in special devotion, and it is carried in procession every Good Friday. This sterling silver pendant shows the figure in relief, with the words «El protector» (the protector) engraved on the outline of the capote.
- Material: 925 sterling silver.
- Dimensions: 2.5 x 3.5 cm.
- Design: the Bullfighters' Christ in relief, inscribed «El protector» on the capote.
- Use: on a chain or added to a bullfighting-themed bracelet.
Many fans wear it every day as a lucky charm. It also makes a meaningful gift for a matador, a novice bullfighter or someone just starting at bullfighting school.
